Online Video No Longer So 2008

Way back when (2008 actually), Kevin O’Keefe posted a blog entry discussing law firms putting videos on their websites.  While it only took two years, law firms are now starting to move away from that talking head in some nameless law library.  As Eric Young of the San Francisco Business Times points out in his blog, unless you follow the legal industry, “one firm might seem pretty much like the other.”  So what better way to differentiate your firm than talking directly to potential clients through video?  Technology has made online video efficient and cost effective!  Be creative, try something new, and talk to your clients.  If it doesn’t work, you take the video down and store it with those old law library videos from 2008.
